Syrdarya region’s Hokim Akmaljon Mahmudaliyev received Kuwait’s business community.

It was noted that bilateral relations have risen to an entirely new level thanks to the far-sighted policy of the President of Uzbekistan and the Amir of Kuwait. It was stressed that this meeting is an excellent opportunity to identify concrete steps towards developing a multifaceted partnership. The need to import citrus fruits, petrochemical products, and equipment from Kuwait to Syrdarya region, and increase exports of legumes, flour, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and dried fruits to Kuwait was noted. 

The guests were informed about the projects being implemented in the region, the benefits created for investors, and the infrastructure available in the region. G2B and B2B meetings also took place.

An agreement was reached on organizing a working trip of the delegation of Syrdarya region to Kuwait, continuing negotiations and preparing a program of joint events.
