Kurash: Winners of the President’s Prize tournament awarded in France

Athletes from 30 countries, such as the United Kingdom, France, Greece, Germany, and Uzbekistan, participated in the International Kurash Tournament for the Prize of the President of Uzbekistan, held at the Centre Sportif Émile Anthoine in Paris.

During the traditional tournament attended by compatriots living in France, an exhibition of Uzbek national handicrafts, culinary demonstrations, and a concert with Uzbek artists were organized.

During the competitions held in a festive atmosphere, Rachel Hawkes (United Kingdom), Anne M’Bairo (France), Samandarbek Sadinov (Uzbekistan), and Sherali Jurayev (Uzbekistan) won in their respective weight categories. Also, prize placements went to Isabella Schulein (Germany), Christina Stamouli (Greece), Nolwenn Hebert (France), Chloe Jessica Noon (United Kingdom), Aylin Mill (Germany), Kubranur Esir (Türkiye), Alexandre Fereol (France), Melih Topçu (Türkiye), and Panagiotis Papanikolaou (Greece).
