Kazakhstan delegation visits Uzbekistan
Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with a delegation led by the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Zhanseit Tuimebayev.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries R. Kurbanov and others noted that the issue of ensuring unity between representatives of different nationalities and faiths, strengthening the atmosphere of friendship, solidarity, mutual respect, love and care, wider establishment of good neighborly relations with neighboring countries has an important place in the reform process implemented by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In recent years, the relations between the two countries have been strengthened and new opportunities have opened up. In 2018, the Year of Uzbekistan was successfully held in Kazakhstan, and this year the Year of Kazakhstan is widely celebrated in Uzbekistan.
New prospects for cooperation were outlined at the meeting. The delegation attended the conferences within the framework of Tolerance Week.
