Azizjon Kamilov, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Judo Federation, met with members of the national team who are preparing for the Grand Slam tournament.

The competition will take place in Tashkent from February 27 to March 1.

Participants in the meeting discussed preparations for the tournament and the team’s objectives. During conversations with each athlete, it was especially emphasized that the people of Uzbekistan have high hopes for them.

Based on the tournament results, ranking points will be awarded toward the Summer Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028. A total of 56 judokas will represent the country at the competition.
