A meeting has been held between Uzbekneftegaz JSC representatives and the American company Halliburton.

According to Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the parties discussed the implementation of modern technologies in oil and gas fields and enhancing raw material extraction efficiency.

The negotiations primarily focused on introducing new technologies in Uzbekistan’s exploration, drilling, and extraction processes. Opportunities for implementing seismic exploration methods, geological and geophysical analysis, and digital modeling were reviewed. Additionally, discussions covered expanding cooperation in developing hard-to-recover reserves, improving drilling technologies, and well abandonment techniques. This approach is expected to contribute to the more efficient utilization of Uzbekistan’s hydrocarbon resources.

The parties also discussed the prospects of localizing Halliburton’s technologies in Uzbekistan. Proposals were made regarding specialist training for the oil and gas industry and the implementation of joint projects.

The sides identified priority areas of cooperation and agreed to develop a roadmap for implementing joint initiatives.
