The Anti-Corruption Agency’s leadership and World Bank experts met as part of the Tashkent Anti-Corruption Forum to discuss ongoing joint projects.

Akmal Burkhanov, Director of the Agency, expressed gratitude to the World Bank for its support in developing a methodology for assessing corruption risks in the activities of government agencies in Uzbekistan and an institutional assessment of the Agency’s work.

Following the forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the World Bank to cooperate in training personnel, implementing joint projects, and studying methods to combat corruption.
