According to the agreement signed in May 2019 within the framework of bilateral cooperation, a decision was made to train specialists in technological education. A group of specialists from Polotsk State University led by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yury Golubev arrived in Andijan to conduct examinations among applicants, wishing to study in this direction.
Guests became familiar with activities of Andijan State University, conditions created for students, educational and laboratory rooms, classrooms for examinations, as well as Museum of Memory of Repression Victims, established at the University.
On the second day of the visit, applicants were tested with participation of specialists from both higher education institutions. Testing process was held online to ensure openness and transparency of examinations.
Following the exams, answers were checked for an hour in the presence of applicants, then the results were announced.
Students will study for two years at Andijan State University and two years at Polotsk State University as part of the joint educational program. Graduates will receive diplomas of two higher education institutions.
