On April 26 this year, an International Forum will be held on “Efficiency of using basalt products in various sectors of the economy” in Farish district of Jizzakh region, in cooperation with Uzbekistan Industrial and Construction Bank (SQB) and Uzqurilishmateriallari Association.

The event is organized to implement the tasks and instructions given by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan during his trip to Jizzakh region on April 8-9, 2024, to widely popularize the benefits of products produced by the Basalt Uzbekistan cluster, accelerate research work, and further enhance promotion to the foreign market.

The forum will be attended by large customers, representatives of construction enterprises and design institutes, interested ministries and agencies, domestic and foreign businesspeople, and specialists from South Korea, Italy, the Czech Republic, Türkiye, and Russia.

According to the forum program, participants will become familiar with the state and prospects for producing innovative basalt-based building materials in Uzbekistan, the quality and properties of products, international standards, research and innovations, advanced technologies, and equipment in this direction.
