Tashkent hosted the international U23 football tournament dedicated to the memory of Mirabror Usmanov.

The final match featured the national teams of Japan and Uzbekistan. The game was officiated by a team of referees led by Asker Najafaliev, with Sanjar Shoyusupov and Alisher Usmanov assisting on the sidelines. Unfortunately, the Uzbekistan team was defeated by a score of 0:2. The Japanese team claimed the tournament title.

Awards were also presented for the best player, top scorer, and best goalkeeper of the tournament. All three honors went to Japanese players Uche Nwadike, Alen Inoue, and Masataka Kobayashi, respectively. The best young players were named as Oybek Urmonjonov from Uzbekistan and Shion Shinkawa from Japan.
