Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov met with the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Asad Majeed Khan.

The parties discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation, including the development of partnership between the organization’s member countries in trade, transport and tourism, as well as plans for the future.

At the meeting, views were also exchanged on the socio-economic reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, recent economic achievements, plans for 2025-2030, and the development of transport corridors in the ECO countries.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation.
