In the competitions involving representatives of more than 100 countries, 18 athletes of the Uzbekistan national team will compete for the championship.

The next International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) congress was held on August 20, where several issues were considered. In particular, the members of the executive committee analyzed the possibilities of the countries applying to host the 2024 World Cup.

The head of the National Taekwondo Association of Uzbekistan Laziz Hasanov informed participants about conditions and Uzbekistan’s sports potential. In turn, members of the Executive Committee of the International Taekwon-Do Federation highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s reforms in sports.

According to the voting results, Uzbekistan achieved an advantage among 145 countries in the fight for the 2024 Taekwondo World Cup and the IMGC Singles World Championships.
