Istanbul hosted the regular Uzbekistan Youth Forum, organized by the Agency for Youth Affairs in cooperation with the World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan and Turkish universities. This year’s event brought together more than 500 students and young citizens of Uzbekistan who are studying and working in Türkiye.
Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs of Uzbekistan Alisher Sadullayev, Head of the Youth Union Khayrulla Sattarov, Chairman of the World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan Otabek Shavkatbekov, Consul General Sherzod Abdunazarov, head of Gençkon Ahmet Sözbilir, Chairman of the Genç MÜSİAD Mehmet Küçük, and others addressed the forum online.
The forum primarily aims to unite Uzbek youth and support new ideas and initiatives. Four panel sessions covering significant topics such as sustainable development, freelancing and employment, social problems of students, as well as special classes for doctoral students were also held during the event.
The event also included an exhibition introducing Uzbekistan’s cultural legacy and national cuisine.
The forum has become an excellent opportunity for Uzbekistan students from different cities to meet, exchange experiences, make new acquaintances, and enjoy the atmosphere of their homeland.
