A delegation led by the Acting Hokim of Syrdarya region Erkinjon Turdimov is on a working visit to the People’s Republic of China.

According to the Regional Hokimiyat, the delegation holds meetings with representatives of Chinese companies and major investors, during which issues such as strengthening economic cooperation, identifying new investment areas, and implementing joint projects are discussed.

During the negotiations with the heads of Ruian Quanji Agricultural Development, Heben International, China Wenren, Taizhou Shanda International Trade, Fourone System and Sichuan Tenzhui Jie, detailed information was provided on the economic potential, natural resources and favorable investment environment of Syrdarya region.

The Chinese partners highly appreciated the favorable business and investment conditions created in Uzbekistan, especially in Syrdarya region, and put forward several specific proposals and initiatives.

In particular, practical agreements have been reached on cooperation in agricultural processing, the pharmaceutical industry, the development of industrial technology parks, and the production of building materials and innovative technologies.

Issues related to the creation of modern production facilities in Syrdarya region, the organization of joint ventures and the production of export-oriented products were discussed during the negotiations.

The primary purpose of the visit is to attract foreign direct investment to the region, bring economic ties to a new level, and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
