A regional workshop on “Women for Development of Central Asian Border Regions” was held in Bukhara as part of the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10), funded by the European Union. This initiative aims to promote gender equality and enhance the role of women in government structures across the region.

During the sessions, which focused on developing professional and personal competencies and addressing gender equality in the workplace, participants demonstrated high engagement and active discussions.

“This workshop provided a unique opportunity to exchange views and experiences with colleagues from different regions”, said a participant of the event, Ms. Mehriniso Khusainova.
