Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriyev visited the agricultural logistics center and export terminal Romak Co. in Iran.
The diplomat got acquainted with the center’s activities and met with its Director, Reza Ganji.
This company is located in an area of 31 hectares, is designed for storing citrus fruits, and is equipped with modern technological equipment. The main partners of the center are Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, and the countries of Central Asia. 4 million tons of citrus fruits pass through this center annually.
During the talks, the Uzbek side presented information on the export potential of Uzbekistan. Prospects for investment cooperation were discussed, particularly the creation of a similar center in Uzbekistan.
The Iranian side expressed its readiness to cooperate with Uzbekistan in growing, storing, packaging, and preparing citrus fruits for export.
