During his visit to Mazandaran, Iran, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriyev held a meeting and business forum with the leadership of Mazandaran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture and major entrepreneurs of Mazandaran.

At the meeting, issues of increasing the volume of mutual trade and attracting investments between Uzbekistan and Iran were discussed.

The Iranian side expressed gratitude for the opportunities and benefits created by the President of Uzbekistan for entrepreneurs, particularly the extension of the period of zero customs duties on certain types of goods.

Representatives of the business community of Mazandaran expressed their readiness to establish cooperation with Uzbekistan in agricultural technologies, particularly in the cultivation of rice and citrus fruits, preparing them for export and exchanging experience.

Following the talks, it was agreed to organize a visit to Uzbekistan from January 15 to 19 by a business delegation led by the leadership of the Mazandaran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, and leading entrepreneurs of the province.
