As part of the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Islamic Republic of Iran, an official opening ceremony of the Iran House of Innovation and Technology took place in Tashkent.

The opening ceremony was attended online from Tehran by Vice President of Iran for Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy Ruhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi and the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrahim Abdurakhmanov, who discussed further strengthening of relations between the two countries in science, innovation, and education.

First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Komiljon Karimov, heads of the House of Innovation Fakhrulla Lutfiyev and Rasul Beheshtigar, as well as representatives of diplomatic corps, officials, businesspeople, university rectors, and media representatives, took part in the opening of the House of Innovation and Technology of Iran in Tashkent.

Iran House of Innovations and Technologies in Tashkent, part of the international program to promote introducing high-tech technologies in Uzbekistan, will organize permanent exhibitions of innovative technologies, products, and services of Iranian companies.

Iran House of Innovation and Technology will become a bridge between the two states and contribute to technological exchange, cooperation, and partnership development.
