Investors from Afghanistan, Mirzad Mir Ahmad Zaheen and Mir Nasir Ahmad Mirzad, intend to implement a $5 million investment project in Syrdarya region’s Gulistan district to construct apartment buildings and create drinking water bottling plants.

According to preliminary agreements, investors plan to participate in the construction of apartment buildings in the district and purchase 0.96 hectares of land in a small industrial zone through an auction to create a modern production workshop, which will be equipped with advanced foreign equipment.

These projects were discussed with investors during the meeting of Gulistan district’s Acting Hokim Olimjon Jurayev. Special attention was paid to strengthening cooperation between the two countries, including implementing promising investment projects.

Investors became familiar with the land plots in Ahmad Yasawi mahalla, intended to construct an apartment building, and with the activities of a small industrial zone in Ahillik mahalla. The industrial zone’s potential, available production facilities, and created conditions made a great impression on the guests.

The guests also expressed interest in implementing several tourism projects.
