According to the Uzeltechsanoat Association, representatives from ACWA Power (Saudi Arabia) and L&T Construction (India) visited Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering enterprises.

During the visit, Jon Zaidi, Country Manager at ACWA Power for Central Asia, Rajan Bansal, Head of L&T Construction for CIS countries, and representatives of the Ministry of Energy, became acquainted with Enter Steel and Technopark operations. They reviewed production processes and measures to ensure products meet international quality standards.

The parties discussed the potential procurement of metal structures and electrical products from local manufacturers for use in the construction of solar power plants.

As noted by Mr. Zaidi, Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering industry has been developing at an accelerated pace in recent years.

“We are exploring opportunities to cooperate with local producers and engage them in our ongoing projects”, he said.
