International observers are showing great interest in the election process in Uzbekistan under the new system.
Missions from various international organizations and foreign countries are visiting regions and political party organizations to learn about election preparations.
The First Deputy Chairman of the “Adolat” SDP, Abdukamol Rakhmonov, received ODIHR Election Observation Mission legal analyst Dorota Ryża and political analyst Rashad Shirinov.
The party leadership representatives exchanged views with mission members on new political practices in Uzbekistan – elections based on a mixed electoral system, the party’s political activities, campaigning work carried out within the framework of the election campaign, and the party’s program directions.
International observers have carefully studied the activities to ensure the openness, fairness, and transparency of the election process. Abdukamol Rakhmonov provided detailed information about the party’s initiatives to strengthen social justice, equality, and the rule of law, as well as changes in legislation.
The observers positively assessed the party’s activities and election program, focusing on the people’s interests. They stressed the importance of creating equal conditions for each party and observing democratic principles in the elections.
Following the meeting, representatives of the “Adolat” SDP and the international mission also analyzed the results of mutual cooperation and dialogue and agreed to continue supporting a constructive and transparent approach to the electoral process.
