Today, a press conference was held at the Iteca Exhibitions, dedicated to the organization and expected outcomes of international exhibitions in the textile, oil and gas, and energy sectors, scheduled to take place in Tashkent from May 13 to 16.

Speaking at the conference, Aziza Alimova, Project Director at Iteca Exhibitions, Lyudmila Stayshyunayte, Head of Department for Public Relations, Information Policy and Marketing, and other officials emphasized that the international exhibitions traditionally held in these sectors offer extensive opportunities for the development of the national economy and local producers.

As Lyudmila Stayshyunayte emphasized, international exhibitions are closely aligned with the reforms currently being implemented in Uzbekistan, and this process is attracting considerable interest from the global community.

– This year, all events within the framework of Energy Week will be held on a single platform, – Lyudmila Stayshyunayte noted. – Despite the number of individual events, the unified venue will facilitate regional dialogue between the Government of Uzbekistan and energy sector representatives from Central Asian countries. At the same time, this platform will bring together business leaders and government institutions, enabling exhibitions and conferences to be held simultaneously in one location.

A series of exhibitions and conferences will be organized as part of Energy Week. Among them are OGU 2025, Power Uzbekistan 2025, a special section titled GETCO 2025, and the 5th International Energy Conference. One of the key events of Energy Week is the International Energy Forum. The forum program includes the oil and gas sector conference and the 5th International Energy Conference. It will be attended by energy ministers from Central Asian countries and representatives from the energy ministries of Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.

Since 2025 has been declared the Year of Environmental Protection and the Green Economy in Uzbekistan, this year’s focus is on green energy. The general exhibition within the framework of Energy Week will bring together 460 companies and brands, 90 speakers, and more than 1,420 delegates from 32 countries.

Innovative solutions and modern technologies to further develop Uzbekistan’s oil and gas industry will be presented, with the potential for practical implementation at local enterprises. This is expected to have a positive impact not only on the energy sector, but also on the advancement of the green economy in the country.

All events will be organized with the support of the Ministry of Energy, Uzbekneftegaz JSC, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
