International cooperation in improving education quality: experience, theory, practice
Scientific practical workshop on “Problems of creating stable management system of road surface condition” was held at Tashkent Institute of Design Construction and Maintenance of Automobile Roads.
Scientific practical workshop on “Problems of creating stable management system of road surface condition” was held at Tashkent Institute of Design Construction and Maintenance of Automobile Roads. Local and foreign representatives of the sphere, scientists were invited to the event.
The event was held to organize an integrated approach to activities carried out in the country on design, construction and maintenance of roads, establishing international relations in this direction and work on training, retraining and advanced training of personnel on design, construction and maintenance of roads.

The workshop was attended by a professor at the National University of Singapore, Alfred Noble Prize winner for Best Paper, an academician of a number of prestigious academies, the President of Pavement Engineering Society of Singapore Fwa Tien Fang, and a professor at Chang’an University of China Chu Longjia.
Professor Fwa Tien Fang was born in 1962 in Singapore. He graduated in the United States, wrote more than 400 scientific articles on roads. Prepared many undergraduates and graduate students, in 2009 he was awarded the Alfred Noble Prize.

Such workshops contribute to improvement of “Design, construction, maintenance of roads”, “Road asset management” subjects, as well as training qualified personnel.
At the event, Professor Fwa Tien Fang was awarded the honorary title of Doctor of Tashkent Institute of Design Construction and Maintenance of Automobile Roads. The guest presented his books on road sector to the institute’s managers.

Tashkent Institute of Design Construction and Maintenance of Automobile Roads and the National University of Singapore agreed to establish cooperation.
