A meeting took place between members of the Inter-Parliamentary Group of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for cooperation with the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majles) of the Islamic Republic of Iran and members of the Iranian parliament.

At the meeting, it was noted that relations between Uzbekistan and Iran have been developing at an accelerated pace in recent years. Thanks to sincere and friendly dialogue, as well as the efforts of both heads of state, cooperation between the two countries has reached a new level.

Following the talks, which were held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, both sides agreed to utilize parliamentary opportunities extensively to strengthen relations and foster practical cooperation between the two countries.
