The event held by the Morality propagation centre of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the regional institute for training public education workers and upgrading their skills was attended by poets, writers, artists, morality propagators, teachers and young people.

It has been especially noted that thanks to large-scale reforms being implemented in the years of independence under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, the country’s economy is steadily developing and the population’s prosperity is rising.

Peace and calm reigning in the country and inter-ethnic accord and results of great construction work have found expression in every area and in every family.

The presidential decree dated 2 June this year “On preparations for and celebrations of the 25thanniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan” is an important programme document in seeing in the holiday of the 25th anniversary of independence in a worthy manner and celebrating it with lifted spirits.

“Thanks to independence, our people’s centuries-old dreams have been realized,” says B.Aliyev, a professor of the Tashkent State Economics University.

During the event, melodies and songs about the homeland, peace and friendship were performed.
