In the “Chirchiq” Technology Park

A tour to the Chemical Industrial Technology Park “Chirchiq” has been organized for the International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia”.

The event was attended by local and Russian representatives of regional authorities, entrepreneurs, and heads of large companies.

Presentations were made on the activities of the Chemical Industrial Technology Park “Chirchiq” and the results achieved in a short period. Tour participants got acquainted with the production process.

As noted by the Director of the Directorate of the Chemical Industrial Technology Park “Chirchiq”, Jakhongir Abdurakhmonov, the technology park was built within the framework of the Presidential Resolution “On measures to create the Chemical Industrial Technology Park “Chirchiq” in Tashkent region” of February 3, 2022.

“There are production and administrative blocks here, occupying an area of 52 thousand square meters”, says J. Abdurakhmanov. “Residents are implementing 14 projects worth $32 million, 450 jobs have been created. By the end of the year, nine more projects are planned to be launched. This will allow for $50.6 million in investment and create 760 jobs. The production volume will exceed 500 billion UZS, and exports will amount to $10 million. We are negotiating with foreign partners to implement projects worth $110 million. Thanks to their launch, 2,050 jobs will be created”.
