How many tourists visited Uzbekistan in 9 months?
In January-September 2022, 3.6 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.
According to the State Statistics Committee, this indicator has increased 3.2 times compared to the corresponding period last year.
The five countries from which tourists visited Uzbekistan the most included Kazakhstan (1076.2 thousand people), Kyrgyzstan (952.1 thousand people), Tajikistan (950.3 thousand people), Russia (395.1 thousand people) and Türkiye (53.3 thousand people).
Next on the list are Germany (13.5 thousand people), South Korea (13.3 thousand people), the United States (9.8 thousand people), India (9.3 thousand people), Israel (8.4 thousand people), France (8.3 thousand people), the United Kingdom (7.7 thousand people), Azerbaijan (7.3 thousand people), Italy (5,9 thousand people) and Spain (4,3 thousand people).
