April 9 is Sahibkiran Amir Temur's birthday. To mark this significant date, spiritual and enlightenment events are being held throughout Kashkadarya region.

One of these events took place at the Kukgumbaz complex in Shakhrisabz, at the mausoleum of Sheikh Shamsiddin Kulol, mentor of Sahibkiran Amir Temur.

Heads of various sectors led by Murodjon Azimov, the Hokim of Kashkadarya region, along with representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, military personnel, youth activists, and the general public gathered at the monument to the great commander on Oqsaroy Square, commemorating the 689th anniversary of Amir Temur’s birth.

In his speech, regional governor Murodjon Azimov highlighted Amir Temur’s significant role and potential as a statesman, military strategy leadership, contributions to spiritual and educational fields, and rich cultural heritage. He also emphasized the ambitious reforms and constructive endeavors being carried out today in Uzbekistan, reflecting the aspirations of our great ancestor.

Wreaths were laid at the Amir Temur’s monument, and attendees honored the memory of the legendary commander.
