Hokim of Surkhandarya region Ulugbek Qosimov received a delegation led by the Chairman of the International Communication Center of China Long Yuxiang and the Chairman of JDB Group Limited Chan Hung-to.

At the meeting, Ulugbek Qosimov provided the guests with a detailed overview of the investment potential of Surkhandarya region, its strategic geoeconomic position, untapped resources and reserves, and promising areas for expanding cooperation with external markets.

Co-chair of the delegation Long Yuxiang highlighted the high export potential of Surkhandarya region in the agricultural sector and proposed an initiative to implement joint projects aimed at supplying high-quality and competitive agricultural products from the region to the markets of Hong Kong.

During the dialogue, the parties discussed the implementation of previously reached agreements, the joint development of promising lands of the oasis, and the launch of a project to process valuable mineral resources. Relevant agreements were signed, and documents were exchanged.

On the same day, the guests were given a detailed tour of the Termez International Trade Center and the free trade zone.

The meeting was attended by Ikhtiyor Niyazmuradov, Head of the China Relations Department under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Feruza Khamidova, First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology.
