In June this year, the 11th International Scientific and Practical Workshop “UI Green Metric World University Rankings 2025” was held at Université Côte d'Azur in Nice, France.

The Rector of Bukhara State University, Professor Obidjon Khamidov, who participated in this prestigious forum as part of the Uzbekistan delegation, delivered a presentation titled “The Experience of Bukhara State University: Integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into the Educational Process”.

During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Bukhara State University and Université Côte d'Azur. The document aims to implement joint scientific projects, organize academic exchanges between institutions, and promote the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

During his visit to France, Mr. Khamidov also met with Maxime Boyer, Deputy Mayor of Toulouse and Vice President of Toulouse Métropole.

At the meeting, agreements were reached on cooperation with Toulouse universities in areas such as joint educational programs, artificial intelligence, international business, as well as student and faculty exchange programs.
