
On the occasion of June 27 – Press and Mass Media Workers Day – a ceremony was held at the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan to confer honorary titles upon representatives of the media and communications sector who have made a significant contribution to the development of journalism.
During the event, several professionals working in mass communication, journalism, and the media industry, including heads of leading editorial offices, recognized journalism experts, and representatives of major news agencies, were awarded honorary titles.
In particular, media professionals who have made meaningful contributions to the industry and serve as role models for the younger generation were granted the titles of “Honorary Professor of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan” and “Honorary Associate Professor of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan”.
The University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan is dedicated to training highly qualified professionals with a modern worldview. As part of this mission, the university actively collaborates with experts in journalism, public relations, communication technologies, and media studies.
This recognition serves not only as a high evaluation of the recipients’ professional achievements but also as a powerful motivation for the younger generation, encouraging them to serve society with dedication. The honorary titles were awarded in accordance with an official decision of the university’s academic council.
