In 2021, GDP growth reached 7.4% in Uzbekistan, the State Statistics Committee reports.

Gross value added created by all sectors of the economy amounted to 92.8% of the total GDP and increased by 7.5% (contribution to GDP growth – 6.9 percentage points). Net taxes on products in the structure of GDP amounted to 7.2% and, compared to 2020, increased by 6.7% (contribution to GDP growth – 0.5 p.p.).

In the context of activities, the value growth added amounted to:

– in agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 4.0%;

– in the industry – 8.7%;

– in construction – 6.8%;

– in the service sector – 9.2%.
