A passenger aircraft from Turkestan has landed at Samarkand International Airport.

Operated by the Kazakh airline Qazaq Air, the new flight route connects Astana, Turkestan, and Samarkand, with regular service on Thursdays and Sundays.

An official event was held to mark the arrival of the inaugural flight, attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Samarkand and representatives of the Samarkand Regional Administration.
