The multidisciplinary enterprise Bukhara Cotton Textile Cluster in Bukhara region is considered a unique object that has incorporated the entire process of the cluster system – from cotton growing to its deep processing.
The Uzbek-British joint venture Bukhara Cotton Textile Cluster deeply processes the fiber obtained from the local cotton gin from cotton grown in the Bukhara Cotton Textile agrocluster of Romitan district.
It should be noted that the joint venture has a production capacity of 10 thousand tons of cotton fiber per year, that is, the textile complex workshops are launched in stages. In March last year, a spinning mill began operating here. Over the past period, 2885 tons of yarn were produced in the workshop.
Bukhara Cotton Textile employs 954 specialists. Most of them are graduates of higher education institutions and professional colleges in Bukhara region.
It is possible to produce 24 types of yarn in the workshop, including 9.5 thousand tons of yarn with the addition of lycra and polyester.
In January, spinning, sewing factories for dyeing and finishing of yarn will be launched. Now the machines and equipment installed there have been launched in test mode, the work team is being formed.
