The Friendship Festival was held at the Uzbekistan Palace of Trade Unions in Tashkent.
The event brought together members of trade union organizations, artistic ensembles, national cultural centers, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, and Turkmenistan.
This prestigious international festival, dedicated to several significant dates – July 30, the Friendship of Peoples Day, the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, and the 120th anniversary of the country’s trade union movement – aimed to strengthen friendship among peoples through the medium of art.
The exhibition held at the palace made a strong impression on all attendees. A special display dedicated to the Kyrgyz Culture Days was also organized.
Participants of the event especially noted the noble efforts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in preserving peace not only in the region but throughout the world.
During the concert held as part of the festival, artistic groups from Uzbekistan and fraternal countries, as well as participants from national cultural centers, performed songs and dances celebrating friendship, brotherhood, and peace.
