Five Uzbekistan boxers advance to the World Cup Final

In the semifinals of the World Boxing Cup held in New Delhi, India, six of our athletes entered the ring.

Khalimjon Mamasoliyev, competing in the +90 kg category, confidently defeated Ju Tae-Ung of South Korea and advanced to the final. Nusratbek Tokhirov, in the -90 kg category, beat Jakub Tutak Adam of Poland with a score of 4:1.

Among the women, Oltinoy Sotimboyeva (+80 kg) reached the final after her victory over Assel Toktassyn of Kazakhstan. Aziza Zokirova (-70 kg) also secured a place in the final, proving stronger than Anastasia Chernokolenko of Ukraine, and Farzona Fozilova defeated Anna Okhota of Ukraine.

Adhamjon Mukhiddinov, competing in the 65 kg category, lost in the semifinals and finished in third place.
