The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, in Kabul.

“Together with H.E. Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, we held our first political consultations today in Kabul”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote on his Telegram channel. “We reaffirmed our commitment to regional connectivity, joint water management, economic cooperation, educational support, cultural restoration. 

Uzbekistan will continue advocating globally for deeper integration of Afghanistan into regional and global processes that will ensure lasting peace, stability, and shared progress”.
