The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev traditionally congratulated veterans, activists and representatives of the intelligentsia on the eve of the New Year.

The Acting Hokim of Samarkand region A. Babayev conveyed congratulations and presented gifts in Samarkand region.

The head of the region also visited the house of scientist Komilkhan Kattayev.
