Before this match, FC Lokomotiv, by playing at home and guest match with the team Al Ittihad FC from Saudi Arabia with a score 1:1, and defeating Iranian Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan FC with a 2:0, took second place in the group A with 5 points.
