The Shanghai Cooperation Organization makes a significant contribution to the economic development of its member countries.

The exhibition “The Great Silk Road unites us, and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization leads to mutual benefit” will open in Qingdao on July 17-18.

On the eve of this event, a tour of the exhibition center was organized for journalists.

“Each participating state will have a separate platform for product demonstrations”, the EXPO representatives emphasize. “The exhibition will be held in a building with a unique architectural design in the form of a seven-petalled flower.

The largest and most luxurious exhibition area is intended for Uzbekistan. There will be a statue of Amir Temur at the entrance to the Uzbekistan pavilion. Participants will be informed about the results of reforms in the New Uzbekistan and achievements. There will be textiles among the presented products manufactured in Uzbekistan, because natural cotton and silk fibers, fabrics woven from them, occupy a significant place in Uzbekistan’s exports. The participants will also enjoy a wide range of food products, Tashkent porcelain, and other attention-grabbing products.

Journalists from the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization also got acquainted with the activities of this influential international organization.
