
An evening of Uzbek poetry dedicated to the great thinker, poet, and founder of the Uzbek literary language, Alisher Navoi, took place at the Peoples’ Friendship House of the Chuvash Republic.
The event was organized with the support of the leadership of the Chuvash Republic, the Ministry of Culture, and the Assembly of Peoples of Russia, as well as the public organization “Uzbek Cultural Center of the Chuvash Republic” with the assistance of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan.
The event participants discussed Alisher Navoi’s rich legacy, his contribution to the development of Uzbek and world literature, and the significance of his works in shaping national culture and literary-aesthetic perspectives.
Guests were presented with the poet’s works in Uzbek, Russian, and Chuvash, performed by members of the Uzbek Cultural Center. National songs, dances, and an exhibition showcasing Uzbek craftsmanship and musical instruments further enriched the festive atmosphere.
