An opening ceremony of a newly established ethno-tourism village modeled on a Korean concept was held in Parkent district.

The village of Chashma is located at an altitude of 1,300 meters above sea level and is distinguished by its clean air, picturesque nature, healing springs, and proximity to the Chatkal Nature Reserve.

As part of the event, performances by a folk ensemble were held, along with a display of national costumes and an exhibition of visual artworks.

A press tour of Parkent district was organized for media representatives and the creative team of the South Korean magazine “MOVE”. Participants were introduced to the Family Resort guesthouse, resort areas under construction within the Kumushkon complex, hotels, and other tourist facilities.

“Parkent District offers 99 tourist accommodation facilities”, said Jamshid Bobojonov, Deputy Hokim of Tashkent region for Tourism, Culture, Cultural Heritage, and Mass Communications. “Specifically, there are 4 hotels, 88 family guesthouses, 4 hostels, and 3 sanatoriums operating here. Additionally, 7 travel agencies provide services”.

In 2024, Parkent district welcomed 1.9 million tourists, including 146,900 foreign visitors. To date, the volume of tourism service exports has reached $42.3 million.
