In Andijan region, as well as throughout the country, elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Local Councils of People’s Deputies are taking place.

There are 938 polling stations organized in the region.

The election process has been actively underway since early morning under the motto “My choice is my prosperous Motherland”.

All polling stations have been provided with the necessary conditions to ensure that the elections are held at a high level. More than 1 million 755 thousand people are scheduled to participate in the polls. According to the Regional Territorial Election Commission, 36,486 citizens voted early.

Polling station 15 has been organized at the Creative School named after Muhammad Yusuf in Andijan.

“1,901 voters are registered on our territory, 14 voted early, and 32 will participate in the elections for the first time”, says the Chairperson of the election commission Kamolahon Sirojiddinova. “All voters are issued ballot papers based on the list”.

Elections are actively taking place at all polling stations.
