The Press Center of the Central Election Commission held a briefing with the participation of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhrom Aloyev. He informed about the election process at polling stations abroad.

It was noted that 57 polling stations were organized at the embassies and consulates of Uzbekistan in 40 foreign countries. To facilitate the work of Uzbekistan citizens abroad, a special electronic service has been introduced to include them in the voter list through the saylov.mfa.uz website.

Early voting took place at polling stations abroad on October 16-23, 2024. During this process, precinct election commissions established 509 mobile polling stations in 145 cities where the most significant number of Uzbekistan citizens live, including those where there are no diplomatic missions. During the early voting held abroad, 132 million 667 thousand compatriots realized their constitutional rights.

Based on the media plan developed by embassies and consular offices, 357 materials on the elections were published in 217 leading media outlets in 37 foreign countries. More than 1,300 articles were distributed through the social networks of compatriots and diaspora organizations.

It was emphasized that the first election process abroad began at 04:00 Tashkent time on October 27 at the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in Japan and the Republic of Korea, and the last one will end at 05:00 on October 28 at the United States mission.

Currently, the voting process is in full swing in most countries, including the Middle and Far East, Asia and Oceania, European countries, Russia, and all neighboring countries.
