Eldor Shomurodov registers the historical result again
The FIFA Series 2026 has kicked off in Tashkent. In the first match, the Uzbekistan national team beat Gabon 3:1.
As is known, Eldor Shomurodov was the author of the national team’s first goal in the 14th minute. This goal has opened a new page in Uzbekistan’s football history.
The fact is that this goal was registered as the 44th goal in the international court, this result set a new record. Eldor Shomurodov is widely regarded as the most prolific goal-scorer in the history of the Uzbekistan national team. He achieved this result in the 89th match.
Eldor started his career with the national team on September 3, 2015, and has scored goals against the national teams of 27 countries so far. He also scored 12 goal passes in these matches.
