Representatives of Uzbekistan attended the British Council’s Deep Dialogues event in Manchester on “Transnational Education: A deeper insight into TNE regulatory and policy environment”.

The event is attended by invited representatives of higher education from 18 countries.

Discussions focused on the prospects for transnational education and key thematic trends affecting higher and further education worldwide.

The Rector of Westminster International University in Tashkent Komiljon Karimov spoke about large-scale reforms in higher education in Uzbekistan, the university’s experience in developing transnational education in the country and abroad.

In panel discussions, participants discussed the liberalization of higher education and its impact on transnational education, the relevance and quality of education, and the increase in the inclusiveness and effectiveness of transnational education.
