The 19th International Exhibition “Mining, Metallurgy and Metalworking” will be held at the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex on October 28-30 of this year.

Deputy Director General of Iteca Exhibitions, Oyimkhon Bobojonova, shared the following regarding the upcoming event:

“As is known, the extraction and processing of mineral resources form the basis of economic development. The supply of raw materials and high-quality processed products, such as metal rolled products, pipes, and other materials, ensures the functioning of all branches of the economy and contributes to their further growth.

Uzbekistan’s mining industry, in a country endowed with abundant natural resources, is developing steadily, supplying various raw materials to domestic industries and expanding export deliveries. The country’s leadership pays close attention to the sector’s growth, creating conditions for the introduction of new technologies and innovations, as well as for improving environmental sustainability and energy efficiency in production.

The international exhibition MiningMetals Uzbekistan also makes a significant contribution to the industry’s development.

The exhibition provides an opportunity for specialists in the mining and metallurgical sector, relevant ministries and agencies, and specialized organizations to hold direct negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers, and to consider promising options for production modernization. This year, more than 150 companies from 15 countries are taking part in the event, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, the Republic of Korea, Latvia, Mongolia, Russia, Türkiye, China, the Czech Republic, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and India.

The exhibition’s exposition is divided into two main sectors: “Mining” and “Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering”. The “Mining” section will showcase comprehensive solutions for all stages of mineral extraction and processing, including crushing and screening equipment, milling equipment, drilling rigs and tools, flotation cells, pumps and filters, equipment for sand washing and dewatering, bulk material transportation, conveyor systems, special machinery for open-pit and underground operations, as well as technologies for automation and digital monitoring of mines.

The “Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering” section will present a wide range of equipment and technologies for metallurgical enterprises, including CNC machines, rolling and casting equipment, cranes for steelmaking shops, filtration and aspiration systems, lubricants and coolants, materials for geotechnical and construction needs, as well as solutions for waste processing and secondary metals recycling.

The outdoor exposition will introduce visitors to key construction and mining equipment, including drilling rigs, excavators, telehandlers, and filter presses.

A significant place this year will be given to the stand of the flagship enterprises of Uzbekistan’s mining industry and metallurgy. Among them are the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Company, JSC Navoiyuran, JSC Uzmetkombinat, and others.

Traditionally, the International Mining and Metallurgical Forum UIMF 2025 will be held for the seventh time within the exhibition framework, under the theme “The Mining Industry of the Future: Resources and Strategies”. It will bring together government representatives, industry leaders, major producers, investors, financial institutions, and international experts. The prestigious event is organized by the Congresses of Central Asia (CCA)”.
