Tashkent hosted International specialized exhibitions FoodWeek/Horeca/AgriTek Uzbekistan 2018, organized by Expo Position LLC with the assistance of ministries of agriculture and water management, the Council of Farmers, Dehkan Farms and Owners of Household Lands, at Uzexpocentre.

Among participants there are nearly 60 companies from 13 countries such as Belarus, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Poland. Equipment for food and packaging industry, bars and restaurants, food and beverages, agricultural products are presented for visitors.

Participant of the exhibition Vazira biznes LLC is operating in the country since 2012. The main activity of the company is production of ice cream. Over 60 types of favorite treats are produced here, as well as cheese curds and more than 10 kinds of convenience food.

– Our business began with opening of a grocery store in 2005, – says Sherzod Kabilov, director of the company. – Two years later, we decided to expand the business through production of ice cream. But we didn’t want to sell the same thing as everyone else, or what dozens of similar companies produce, and we launched the production of biscuit-based ice cream in solid packaging. Consumers appreciated the product – ice cream has become popular.

Deciding not to stop there, the company invested profits in development of new types of ice cream, the purchase of new equipment. The emphasis was on the assortment, because different types of ice cream are popular at different times of the year. This year, black ice cream is among the new products of the company, and in the future it is planned to purchase equipment and produce waffles for ice cream.
