Delegation of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by the Chairperson of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva, will pay an official visit to Saint Petersburg.

At the invitation of the Chairman of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States, on November 20-22, the delegation of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by the Chairperson of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva, will pay an official visit to Saint Petersburg.

The delegation will attend the meeting of the IPA CIS Council and the fiftieth plenary session of the IPA CIS. A roundtable discussion will be held on “Sustainable development of rural areas”. Issues of sustainable development of rural areas, exchange of experience in implementing successful strategies and programs in this field will be considered.
