Cyber security is a complex process, not a one-time solution

The event, organized by Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center, was attended by leading experts and practitioners in information security from Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Ernst & Young international consulting companies, as well as domestic software developers.
As it was noted, Internet of everything – IoE requires a fundamentally different, holistic approach to ensuring the security of users, devices and processes. State-level IT projects require a higher degree of cyber security, since their vulnerability has significant implications for the whole country. Cyber security is an integrated approach, not a one-time solution.
During the roundtable, foreign experts presented statistics on the most significant cyber incidents, as well as the results of research conducted by their companies.
At the event, it was noted that training qualified personnel and specialists in IT-industry is one of the main drivers in formation of an integrated data protection system.
Following the event, two memorandums of cooperation were signed. The first of these became a Memorandum of Cooperation between Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center and SUE E-government and Digital Economy Project Management Center of the National Project Management Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This document will contribute to further strengthening cooperation in implementation of projects within the framework of e-Government system development and formation of the digital economy in Uzbekistan, cooperation with companies-developers of Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center.
A Memorandum was also signed between Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center and RB Asia investment consulting company, which will provide services to residents of the innovation center who have expressed interest in investing and raising capital to expand their business.
