Westminster International University in Tashkent, University of Westminster in London and the Institute of Budget and Tax Research under the Ministry of Finance held an international conference on the current state and prospects for development of integrated financial services in Uzbekistan.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Central Bank, the Institute of Budget and Tax Research and Westminster International University in Tashkent.

Participants of the conference considered international best practices in banking and finance, microfinance opportunities and other alternative approaches. It was noted that the use of modern technology and financial literacy among the population is important in further development of financial services.
